As the attention of the world is focused on global terrorism, we cannot  ignore the impact of domestic street level  terrorism. Every second of every day throughout America and the world, in large cities, small towns, communities and  villages, citizens are plagued with crime and violence. For years, many have been left perplexed with the understanding of exactly how to address these issues effectively.  In 1990, as a response to the urgent outcry for some relief to address the issues of crime and violence, the pioneers of Task Force created a revolutionary community policing concept to take on these challenges. Our consulting solutions rest on the simple belief that true community policing is key to solving crime and social disorder in  communities. 

In 1829, Sir Robert Peel created the Metropolitan Police when he served as Home Secretary of England. According to Peel, true  policing is when we all understand that, "the police are the people and the people are the police".  Task Force not only embraces this belief, it is actually the cornerstone of our business philosophy and model. Task Force’s holistic consulting services  utilizes a Cognitive Behavioral method that aims to solve problems concerning dysfunctional emotions, behaviors and cognitions through a goal-oriented, systematic process, in an effort to help build healthy sustainable  communities.
 
Implementing outcome based initiatives, it is our objective to ensure that communities are revitalized through the establishment of partnerships with the private and public sectors; and residents are empowered and linked with opportunities and resources through their relationships with project staff and key community stakeholders. We believe that residents have the greatest stake in their community and therefore we seek to adequately prepare citizens to take ownership for its condition. TFSO employs teams of experts with diverse cultural and bi-lingual backgrounds who have extensive knowledge in various areas of safety & security, social  services, community development and property management. Our teams work intensely to help the client build a business case for change. Through a phased approach, we create customized programs that addresses the clients specific safety & security challenges, along with the  implementation of  long term solutions and ongoing project support.
